On today’s show, “Episode 52: How To Bounce Back From Depression Quickly” Elaine Hilides, successful state of mind coach and speaker, joins us to give wisdom to mums struggling with depression to bring a cutting edge understanding to move past the label so as to bounce back from it in 6 weeks or less.
“By talking about something that happened that he’d enjoyed reminded him of things that he enjoyed and reminded him of the possibility of enjoyment. He used to tell the story to people a lot because he said he did feel a bit fed up, he did feel a bit low, but he didn’t go into a depression.”
Elaine has been coaching for many, many years and during those years she studied lots of different theories and therapies including NLP, TFT, CBT however, in 2009 she was introduced to the Principles of Mind, Consciousness, and Thought and everything fell into place. Elaine discusses her amazing findings that fly in the face of conventional psychology. By working with depression for many years, she has seen how important it is to focus on the moments they actually “don’t suffer” to bring awareness to how they innocently reinforce their own creation of depressive thinking. We also touched on how as parents we are not responsible for our children’s behavior and what is useful when they do act out. She talked about how depression isn’t something you need to live with for the rest of your life but something you can bounce back from innately in 6 weeks or less. She also pointed to how depression isn’t a diagnosis to be afraid of.
