with Liz Petrone

On today’s episode, “How To Embrace The Loneliness Of Motherhood”, Liz Petrone, successful writer, blogger, teller of stories and mother to four, joins us to discuss how we can embrace the mess and loneliness of motherhood so as to experience love in every part of our life.

Show Notes:

“What do I want out of this life? What is going to keep me healthy and whole and able to parent these babies in a way that is authentic?”

Liz Petrone found an outlet to express her experience of motherhood, allowing her to embrace (her so called) messy life, and find the joy in it. In being able to talk about the difficulties, her outlet helped her find happiness in the (so called) mess and loneliness.

In this conversation, we discuss how to not only accept or embrace who we are, but also what we can do to put our message out there. By sharing your stories with others, the sense of loneliness fades as you realize that you are not the only one. And as other mums listen or read, they too know now that they are not alone either, reducing that loneliness that exists.

If you’re a mum having a hard time, especially as the holidays have kicked in and want to know you’re not alone and that you don’t have to go it alone either, this episode is for you. Enjoy!
