with Jennifer Lynn

On today’s show, “Episode 84: The Startling Truth About Unrealistic Expectations” Jennifer Lynn, working mum and creator of They Whine, So I Wine Blog, joins us to discuss how hard unrealistic expectations can be on working mums.

Show Notes:

Motherhood is beautiful, but it’s also messy, lonely, isolating at times…some days it feels mundane, but it doesn’t mean you’re a bad mum.

Jennifer joins us today to have a real and authentic conversation about the unrealistic standards that working mums place on themselves and why it’s critical to let go of them to focus on what is possible for them.

We discuss how easy it is for working mums to feel alone, guilty, and struggle. Often woman feel divided by the images on social media or helpless by what they deem as “society standards” when it should bring them closer together because we are human and feel the same things.

We also discuss that attempting to uphold these ideals can be a kill joy and create unnecessary burdens.

If you’re a working mum who’s struggling to balance it all, and live up to some serious unrealistic expectations then this will be a great episode for you! Enjoy!
