Mature Relationships: Capturing Love in a Couples Photo Session

A Magical Couples Photo Session

“I love how you love each other.” This was a reflection I was given yesterday after our couples photo session. It felt so good to receive as it’s true. Back when I was single, I knew relationships like this existed, but I had never experienced a truly mature and sovereign relationship for myself. Yesterday my partner and I had such a magical time shooting us in all our glory.

Revisiting Our First Kiss Memories

We went back to the magical place of our first kiss all those 3.5 years ago. Little did I know what would come of that kiss…but I knew I was in trouble when it happened. Since then, we have had our moments, but we have moved through them to get to a point in our relationship where there is a beautiful depth of understanding that just keeps unraveling itself.

Capturing the Essence of Mature Relationships

I cannot wait to get my hands on the photos and to integrate them into my work (and my home, as I want a big canvas of us). We don’t have what most would call “a traditional union”, but we have one that is aligned and unique to us, free of societal expectations and pressures. That’s the beauty of alignment. You get to live into relationship dynamics that are truly right for you without having to lower your standards.

The Importance of Relationship Alignment

But without understanding your Truth, nor being able to express it, this creates a lot of the friction that couples and singles face. Relationship alignment is crucial for navigating and overcoming these challenges.
